Roycan continues its international expansion by attending one of the continent`s biggest education fairs eLearning Africa.
eLearning Africa is the continent`s key annual event for the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the education and training fields. The three-day trade fair in Cairo brought together representatives of the education sector from far and wide.
Roycan attended the fair through its distributor (ETQAN) in the region. ETQAN specializes in training technology. Together with Roycan, the firm has installed several language labs in leading State institutions. Cairo’s Technical Institute for Industrial Development was one of these.
ELearning Africa 2016 was attended by over 1300 experts and researchers in the education field. Roughly 80% of attendees were from Africa and the rest from America and Europe. Over 68 countries were represented during the three days that the event lasted and there were close on 300 speakers. The event was held in the midst of the Egyptian government’s negotiations with various companies in the ICT sector to set up a project dubbed ‘Silicon Waha’. The project aims to turn Egypt into the epicenter for IT development and creation in The Middle East.
